A fire watch is a situation where an individual is
assigned to take care of a fire-prone area in circumstances where say a fire
prevention machine isn’t working temporarily or the institution is in the
process of installing fire hazard extinguishers. These people are usually
assigned at fire-prone places. A fire watch is a short
term solution and cannot be relied upon for a long time. These personnel’s job
is to minimize fire if in case fire breaks out on the site. They are well
