In the prehistoric times, the art of archery was one of the major means of war equipment, amongst others like swords and spears until the discovery and use of gunpowder and bullets. Therefore, people are trained to effectively handle a bow and focus on the object in question. Arrow smiths are those who design and make arrows and many of them were needed in times of war to produce as many as possible arrows. Apart from the use of arrows and bow, spears, swords and shield were instrument used in war. A bestrecurve bow is a common bow used by man because of it design

Recurve bow is design in such a way that the tips of the bow curves away from the archer. In the process of drawing the bowstring for the shooting of an arrow, the curved tips straightens out and its return to the original position when the arrow is being released adds more velocity to the arrow and that's why many people prefer to use it. A speedy arrow penetrates into the object targeted whether man or beast. Clearly, a recurve bow is a class of the types of bows that are available. Though there is no accepted or ordained classification system for bows yet they can be classified based on some parameters.
